3 Things to Teach Young Children about Their Bodies
As parents, we begin teaching our children about the parts of their body when they’re very young. They learn to point to their ears, eyes, mouth and nose, bellybutton and toes; then as they get older they discover more about how their bodies work. As Catholic parents we don’t just want to convey biological information, though — we want our children to learn the meaning and purpose of their bodies. Where do we begin, and how do we communicate that to younger kids?
